I have finally chosen my reception spot for my wedding, I am so excited! I have chosen to have the reception and dinner at The Point located at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. I have been looking all around the Salt Lake Valley trying to find a location that fit my husband to be and my personality and The Point was incredible. It has such a wonderful feeling and has a beautiful view of the entire valley. The consultant was so nice and that meant a lot to me knowing that she wanted this special day to be exactly what we want. The Point is extremely accommodating and provides many services to make my wedding extra special. I am so happy knowing that my wedding is coming together, next on my list is a florist. I feel like I am doing my wedding arrangement in such a random order, but it is coming together very nicely and I can't wait to see the vision unfold!!

A bachelorette party is a great opportunity for female bonding and a great excuse for final play before your big wedding day. We do recommend to hold the party about one month before the wedding to avoid any unwanted wedding day tiredness or hangovers. Typically the party is planned by the maid of honor and bridesmaids. The maid of honor may be planning the party, but that does not mean that she foots the whole bill. The cost is usually split equally by the attendees.
Here are some great ideas for fun bachelorette parties!
Stacey Ashley gives the best parties. She brings all of her toys that she sells with her. Honeymoon nighties is one of her specialties, along with her custom designed panties. Call her for a appointment or a catalog: 1-801-394-5127.
For the shy group, stick to a Tupperware or Pampered Chef party and the credit from the sales can go towards a gift for the bride.
No matter what you do for the party it is fun and gives everyone a chance to get to know each other in preparation for the wedding day.
Okay, so I was walking through Zurchers today and noticed that they had Individual Colored M&M's! "Well, so what?" you say, "I can order those online." Yes, you can, BUT at Zurchers they are roughly $15 cheaper for a 5 pound bag. $35.00 at Zurchers vs. $50 online, plus you save on shipping.
I do have to add though, that if you want them personalized, you will need to order them directly from M&M's. The personalization is a bit more pricey though - about $125 for just under five pounds... BUT, what other time are you going to be able to have your name on candy?!
I think this would be so fun as Wedding Favors for your guests, or use them to give out at your bar. Use fun engagement pictures or maybe pictures of you and your fiancee when you were kids. Check them out at Jones Soda.
Hi! My name is Meghan. I live in Salt Lake City and am currently preparing for my wedding. My wedding is May 11th, 2007, so right now I am trying to get things planned. So far, the only thing I have done is picked out my photographer, Brody Dezember. He has some great ideas and unique images that will go perfect with my ideas for my wedding. I will continue to post my progress as the time draws closer.

Well, it is officially November 1st, which I take as the beginning of Winter. With Halloween over, it means that fall has come to an end. Okay, so Winter doesn't officially begin until December 22nd, but I say it's getting cold, so winter is here! So, are you planning a Winter Wedding? If so, here are a few decorating ideas if you are having a "Winter" themed reception.
Snowflake Tealight Holders from Oriental Trading Company would be nice around your guest book, cake table, or in addition to your centerpieces.
These Star Light's from BridalChoice.com would also be a nice accent.
