Hiring a Makeup Artist for your Wedding Day.

I recently had a bride that hired a makeup artist to do her makeup on her wedding day. All I can say is WOW.... I was very impressed. The makeup artist was from Merle Norman Cosmetics and she did an amazing job (I do have to apologize that I do not have the specific artist's name, I will try and track it down and post it later). Now, the bride was beautiful anyway, but the artist took into account many things that we "regular people" may not think about. She adjusted the shades/colors of the brides makeup to account for the different lighting areas in the reception center, as well as making her look natural for photographs. Many times we see brides that have gone a bit "over-board" with their makeup, I can't tell you how many time I have looked at brides' pictures and wondered what they were thinking when they did their makeup. Hiring a makeup artist may help you forgo all those makeup headaches. I would advise that you meet with the artist before-hand either to do a "practice run" or at least discuss what your expectations are.
